On Friday, June 28, faculty, staff, students and partners gathered to celebrate Dr. Muriel Harris' retirement after nearly two decades with SPHIS. In this Q and A, we asked her to reflect on her 40+ year teaching career.

Dr. Dongfeng Wu wrote Probability Modeling and Statistical Inference in Cancer Screening; Demetra Antimisiaris published “Specific Medication Literacy in Older Adults;” Dr. Melissa Eggen contributed to an article published in Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health; Bert Little published “Environment driven changes in type 2 diabetes, overweight and obesity in an isolated Mixe community in the Valley of Oaxaca, southern Mexico;" and, Dr. Shuoyang Wang, Dr. Wei Fu, Dr. Melissa Eggen, Dr. Tammi Thomas, and Deepti Miller presented at academics conferences.
