Tammy Albers Completes Cardinal Leadership Institute

The Cardinal Leadership Institute (CLI) supports the development and growth of leaders at UofL. October 14, 2024

The Cardinal Leadership Institute (CLI) supports the development and growth of leaders at UofL. The CLI is facilitated by the Employee Success Center, in partnership with the College of Education & Human Development, to cultivate leaders who understand the university’s vision and can effectively foster its growth.

The 2023 CLI cohort included 21 UofL faculty and staff, including Tammy Albers, MS, Program Manager, SPHIS Office of Student Services, who recently celebrated completion of the five-month program.

Albers said, “I am grateful for the opportunity and appreciate the investment made in me by Dean Blakely and Tammi Thomas. I was able to identify my style of leadership, which is servant, and my strengths: Responsibility, Empathy, Includer, Woo, and Communication. I believe my strengths align perfectly with daily actions utilized to help the Office of Student Services run efficiently.”

Not only does Albers “get the job done,” she realizes the importance of human capital at UofL and strives to let her colleagues know how valuable they are. Completing the CLI is another example of Albers’ commitment to SPHIS and UofL.
