Undergraduate Programs in Public Health
Programs
Public health is an interdisciplinary degree that provides students with the skills they need to improve the health of populations and communities, as well as alleviate suffering caused by disease, injuries and health disparities. Public health majors learn how to inquire, challenge and explore options that promote the health and well-being of the world around them. Whatever your interest, we have a program that will meet your needs.

"My degree has shaped my perspective as an educator, and I try to put a lot of emphasis on the way education can really influence future wellbeing. Public health has such a strong focus on how different groups require different communication strategies...Behavior change theories and health communication, especially knowing how to communicate information effectively to get students to engage and listen, are all skills I use daily working as a language assistant in northern Spain."
