Young alumni spotlight: Jordan Lee

  • Degree: BS in Public Health
  • How he became interested in public health: Before starting at SPHIS, Jordan was studying pre-med and was majoring in biology. However, his advisor is who introduced him to the field of public health. He said his degree helped hone his public speaking and critical thinking skills, which aided him in securing his current position.
  • Current Position: Implementation Consultant at Ceridian where his daily duties include traveling to meet clients, fulfilling needs based on company policy, and determining solutions based on client interviews.
  • Previous Experience: UPS, Metropolitan College, Humana, BrightSpring Health Services
  • Volunteer: Student advisor; served on ResCare Board of Advisors
  • Advice to new public health students: “Be open to any opportunity that may present itself. Take in-person presentations seriously. Develop your critical thinking skills.”
  • Advice to soon-to-be public health graduates: “Don’t worry about knowing your absolute path going forward. Be open to change.”
