How did you feel when you found out you had been selected as the 2017 SPHIS Alumna of the Year?
Dr. Todd Misener Named Oklahoma State University’s Chief Wellness Officer
We want to congratulate alumnus Todd Misener, PhD, on being named the Chief Wellness Officer at Oklahoma State University (OSU). After completing his dissertation, which was chaired by Dr. Richard Wilson, Todd earned his PhD in Public Health Sciences with a specialization in Health Promotion from SPHIS in 2014.
2015-16 Alumni Fellow, Dr. Therese Hughes
Therese Hughes, PhD, was honored as the 2015 Alumni Fellow for the School of Public Health and Information Sciences on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015. In her address to f aculty, staff, students, and alumni during the celebration, Dr. Hughes expressed her gratitude to the SPHIS community for the recognition and spoke about her passion and experience in global health. Dr. Hughes received her PhD in Epidemiology in 2007 and was one of the school's earliest graduates.
